When the money people in Hollywood start scraping the bottom of the Halloween barrel again, instead of yet another tired, stupid Michael Myers movie, how about they jumpstart the anthology idea again? A good portion of the public now knows about and understands the anthology idea, so why not go ahead with it? It would be a million times better than more of this crap with Michael Myers and geriatric Laurie Strode.

It was too late for the anthology idea by the time they made a sequel with Michael. If they had started 2 as an anthology it could have possibly worked. Not anymore.

That's a good argument, though I think a more sophisticated population might have understood what was going on.
