If you like this movie awesome. For me the end was pointless. It was Doc? What the hell. I felt cheated not sure how this even got a sequel. Good soundtrack though.

It got a sequel because the music is good. It's worth a watch, TBH.
I actually liked the sequel better. Can't really enjoy either without the other. Soundtrack is definitely the best part.

How would have ended it?
Ehh not really.. in hindsight it made a lot of sense. He was calling Wordman early on trying to break him and it conveniently happened when he came home too. He probably was staking him out unless he was at the radio station.
In the grand scheme him and the drums guy had the worst lives, it was gonna be one of those two because they had more incentive but he was more likeable and seemed more desperate. I counted the drums guy out once he got all dickish over Wendell to Frank for no reason (what a dick move was that, not Frank's fault he didn't know.) Doc meant well which is why I hoped it was him, he wanted everyone to get their respects. I dug that.
