I did not like Donna *Spoilers*

I did not like the character, Donna. Don't get me wrong, I didn't want her to get eaten, and she certainly wasn't the worst character in the book or movie, but it was hard to like her.

She's not very sympathetic to Tad. Vic's the one who comforts him when he's scared of the monster in the closet.

Tad is being bullied at day camp and doesn't like it, but she doesn't care; she makes him go anyway.

Right after Vic asks Tad if he wants to play catch, she rudely tells him that it's his turn to take the groceries inside.

She cheats on Vic for no reason! NO REASON! It's not like she wasn't wanting in the marriage.

Phew! I feel better now, LOL. Joe, Gary, and Steve were all definitely worse, though.

I'm surprised this has never been remade for modern day by Blumhouse with DGG Directing it

reply

The last I heard they were remaking it, but I have no idea who's in it.

The magic is gone, a CGI-dog can not replicate it.

reply

That's what makes the movie so good is the amount of dogs used in the movie through CUJO's transformation and now, it'll be all CGI like you said

reply

Sure hope if the remake is done, the dog isn't CGI.

Is there animal handlers and trainers still working in Hollywood today? They all were probably replaced with CGI-companies.

"She cheats on Vic for no reason! NO REASON!"

Well, maybe she liked the stud more than her husband. In fact she (Dee Wallace) did like him enough to marry him in real life.
