They meet a guy holding an eyeball in middle of road...

And they don't turn around and go straight to the police station, stop somewhere and call the cops...nothing.

:)

I was thinking the same thing...then I had to remind myself that it is an 80's slasher flick. Don't expect the use of common sense...

reply

They had just seen the cops a minute earlier and they were desperately trying to avoid them because they had all of that weed on them. But yeah, that old man would have made you call the cops you'd think right? He would have had an encounter with Jason and he is holding an eyeball. Whose eyeball it was is anyone's business. But still.........

Dumb kids...

'Crazy' Ralph's eyeball. Prophetically enough.

Maybe it has nothing to do with the Jason murders and Crystal Lake just has random insane people walking around with body parts. Maybe Axel from Part 4 sold him the eyeball in exchange for toilet wine or something.

reply

Maybe they thought it was fake. It's what I would assume if I saw something like that. I'd think "it couldn't possibly be real."

reply

I, and I think most would assume it's an animal eyeball. I never once ever thought it was human.

reply

Since I was a kid I thought it was Harold's rabbit eyeball.

reply

I know, right? No matter how off a rambling old man or woman seems, if they found a bodypart and said there was more of the body, I'd turned back from whence I came from. Common sense.

I get high on hydroponic weed

reply

All those murders starting in the fifties, but Crystal Lake's cops never found his shack in the woods. Or the 2 bodies that were in the lake...probably more. Worse then the cops in the Simpson's, even with multiple sheriffs taking charge.

reply

They really never had a reason to look for Jason in the first place, seeing how the murders were all committed by his mother up until Part 2.

reply

Well the man didn't exhibit any violent tendencies and he never tried to harm them, plus he did tell them he found the eyeball. He did not say "I tore this out of someone's skull today!" and brandish it before attacking them. It was pretty clear the man was kooky but not the actual culprit behind the eyeball gouging. Calling the cops would only be a formality to say "You missed some body parts and locals are finding them."

reply

lol Good point. I watched this recently and I enjoy this movie quite a bit. But yeah it's full of dumb moments.

American Horror Story Season 6: Donald Trump

reply

i wouldn't call the cops either.

reply

They probably just didn't really know what to do.
