During the first drawing there is this spelling below, what is the meaning behind A-M-C-A-P?

" 'A'is for Apricot.

'M'is for Marilla.

'C'is for Citrona.

Citrona.

'A'is for Ananas.

Ananas.

'P'is for Pineapple. "

Since Greenaway's details always hint to something, there must be a meaning. The only thing I see, is the pineapple which ends the movie.
