I usually don't like to make things on these message boards political, and I'm certainly not endorsing any of the current presidential candidates here – nor am I asking you to. What I'm interested in hearing from you all is who you think Alex would vote for today, given his strong political opinions, and why.

Alex was only a Republican to rebel against his hippy liberal parents. He shared their values at heart, so probably he would grow up and turn out like them.

shareWho the fuck knows. I've been trying for awhile to come up with an answer to this great question but just can't. The mystery I feel is based on the inconsistency of his character - on one hand he's ultimately compassionate and does the right thing but on the other hand, and just for the sake of comedy, he remains a Nixon worshipper despite all his corruption.
So I guess with that, he could well have been a Trump voter but probably not a hardcore Trumpster. Maybe a moderate, see-sawing supporter, who touts the economy as a Trump achievement while ignoring or acknowledging the negatives.
