I liked it!

It does have it's flaws. My biggest gripe is the fact that in a 95 minute movie, it's an HOUR before we see him in the mask!
But it's a good effort, and it has it's moments. It's worth a look, if you haven't seen it.

I liked it too. I would have been okay about not seeing him donn the mask untill an hour in, if it would have been a three hour movie like the new king Kong. Perhaps the idea would have worked best as an epic six-hour, three part mini-series,like Lonseome Dove.

I liked the movie as well.

I liked it too in matter of fact I bought on VSH years ago and when I got my dvd burner I copied it to dvd because i have feeling once the vsh copies are gone this movie won't been seen again

I liked it too. It's not THAT bad at all. It's curtainly not Silverado, but better than alot of stuff from that era. Also back then it wasn't uncommon to see sloppy dub work in movies and TV(and I'm not even considering spaghetti westerns or Godzilla movies). They could have done away with the silly Dukes of Hazzard style narration, but I think that makes it a little more family friendly. I saw "Assassination of Jesse James" on the same day. Yeah, spectacular acting, but it was a BORING two and a half hour film that was completely overdrawn.

The movie is loaded with only flaws. Besides taking so long for him to don the mask, there is no build up of his character. He puts on the mask and just goes right after Cavendish. What were the film makers thinking

It was well done, but pretty boring. The 2013 version is way more fun.
