Conan's spiritual evolution in regards to sexuality and love...

... as illustrated in this movie (in other words, I'm not talking about REH's Conan, but this alternative movie version):

- His first exposure is as a slave when beautiful women are occasionally thrown to him to the amusement of those watching.
- After he acquires his freedom his first (and presumably only) experience with casual sex goes horribly wrong (the witch sequence).
- Later in Zamora he dismisses the solicitations of prostitutes with a wave and a derogatory word.
- Finally he meets Valeria (Sandahl Bergman) and discovers true love and a sense of loyalty, movingly conveyed in the love/death/funeral sequences.

That seems the natural order and evolution of sexuality...uncertainty, awkwardness, pleasures of the flesh and finally the maturity to know real love

Yet ANOTHER reason why this is a fantastic, All Time Classic movie

Well done Wuchak
