What would you have driven?

Considering the fact that you were in an illegal race, so you stood to be penalized by the cops for any infraction of standard road rules, what vehicle would you have chosen to drive/ride in the Cannonball Run?

I'd go with my first love: a 1972 Cadillac. Instead of the Sedan Deville that I owned, though, I'd go with the Fleetwood model 75 factory limousine. Same basic vehicle, but 4 feet longer than my Sedan DeVille.

Comfort, smooth ride, total elegance. And it didn't get much worse mileage than the DeVille. Plus tons of space for supplies of any sort, and I even could have had early satellite TV. Get my old friend as co-driver, and we would have easily had room for a half-dozen more friends to ride along.

What's your Cannonball Run vehicle?

- Crazy. All crazy but I'm.

Hey, I'd love to drive a souped-up, "Fully Loaded" Herbie!

You mean a classic VW Beetle? Cool choice. Kinda cramped, though...

From the film either the Subaru or the Ambulance

Otherwise - Rolls Royce Phantom or a Audi Quatro

I think the Quattro would be the better choice. Less luxurious, sure, but you don't need roads for a Quattro.

From he movie I would've liked to have driven the 1980 GMC Pacetruck, the Ambulance, the 1980 GMC Vandura or the 1976 Chevy Monte Carlo. They all sounded great!

From the movie, I dunno.

Otherwise, a Nissan 370Z NISMO. Always been a sucker for a Z.

1970 Buick Wildcat 2 door hardtop with the high compression 455 cubic inch (the only year you could get the 455 high compression cubic inch engine on a Buick).

I'm going to go with a car from another film, "The Friends of Eddie Coyle." Jackie Brown's 1971 Plymouth Road Runner with its "curious yellow" paint job. A 383 engine. I'd like to see how far I could get in that one...
