So Joe Pesci lost the Best Supporting Oscar to.........

Seems about fair. Pesci is memorable in this movie, but Hutton is amazing in "Ordinary People."

I did not for one second think of Timothy Hutton as a supporting actor in Ordinary People. Hutton was great, but he should have been placed in the lead actor category. I hate those little category tricks that producers pull
