The actor Gene Anthony Ray (1962-2003) went to the real H.S. of Performing Arts.. Same with a few others in this film. I guess they gave him remedial studies. Not sure if they made him pay for all those case displays he smashed.
shareLate in the game here, I know. But that scene always got to me. I got suspended for calling a teacher a "Callous B****" when I was in High School (around the same time as the movie) and was suspended. How a student gets to mouth off and swear at a teacher then go destroy school property in a violent manner and not be kicked out, is not realistic.
