Stand-out episode!

the one where the boys are stranded in a cabin in the mountains with only a couple cans of soup to eat...and end up about to kill each other over a carton of coffee creamer!

I loved the show when I was a kid, but I don't remember any of the specific episodes per se.

I remember one thing: there was an episode where they were talking about the possibility of moving to California, and the character Amy (Wendie Jo Sperber, I clearly remember her appearance but I had to look up the names just now of course) made fun of Californians by saying something like "Let's go get, like, a yogurt taco" with a typical "surfer accent." Actually I guess it was Val-speak, and this was probably a little before Frank Zappa's song "Valley Girl" was out. Not sure why I remember that.... I guess just because I'm from CA and my sister and I thought it was hilarious as shit, we laughed our asses off.

I did too and vaguely remember seeing the episode the OP is talking about. I used to watch reruns of this show in the mid or late 80s.
