When I Watch Caroline Munro In This Film...

She is running around in her skimpy space outfit with the big collar, thigh high boots and not much else, all I can think is what a stunning Vampirella she would have made. It is a shame the film was never made as she would have been perfect for it. It could also have been one of the greatest Hammer films ever made.

I can't believe Munro was reduced to this ridiculous film because she wasn't willing to do the nudity that would have been required for Vampirella. She was so good in Captain Kronos you can only imagine what she could have done with a bigger role in a real film.

That is a damn good suggestion. In her prime she would have been a great Vampi.

As much as I like looking at Caroline Munro, I admire her for sticking to her guns by refusing to do full nudity in her movies.

I met her a few years ago at London Comic Con. I wanted to get her autograph. By the time we got in a lot of the guests had gone, but I saw her at the far end putting her things away. My kids and I went over and I asked if I could have a picture. She pulled out a couple of ring binders, let me choose the pic I wanted, and signed it. She also signed a magazine I'd brought with me (for free!). Then my daughter took my picture with her (I kept my hands to myself - they must get their share of weirdos - and she said 'Oh, you can put your arm around me'!). Then she insisted on finding someone to take pictures of me and the kids with her. We ended up chatting with her for about twenty minutes. She was absolutely lovely.
