the years ending in 4 and 9 are always big anniversary years for Trek films
I just wish we could get some great Trek. Out of 4 seasons of discovery, 2 Seasons of SNW, 3 seasons Picard and a couple of lame cartoons...
It's been mostly Blah except for Season 3 of Picard. Making a prequel which turning into a 32nd century show and then another Prequel which completely ignores continuity the franchise is already in trouble again. Why they cannot stick with just continuing the TNG story and move the franchise forward from there. The 32nd century is boring, SNW is visibly great but the stories have been extremely meh to me. Picard season 1 and 2 were extremely disappointing. Season 3 was great...a bit heavy handed on nostalgic moments but after 2 seasons of just plain vanilla they had to go all out Neapolitan. 😂
If they don't get a better show runner in there expect more of the same boring shit ... 😂
Mathalas is the one who knows the lore and history. He should be the one running the show.
