Danny Boyle's James Bond 25 Would Have Fixed A Hated 007 Movie

Danny Boyle's unmade James Bond 25 was mostly set in Russia, but its space-set finale could have fixed the reputation of the series' most hated entry.

Moonraker was a major success in its day, but the series immediately course-corrected with the more grounded For Your Eyes Only.

LOL. At least this article has the honesty to first admit Moonraker was a major success but then follows that up by telling us that the series "course-corrected" with the much less successful FYEO (9th vs 17th for the very next film!).

Doesn't sound like much of a course-correction to me in terms of actual interest in seeing the film...

This is a superb example of the revisionist Daniel Craig "Bond" fans attempting to rewrite history.

It's right up there with those who know claim Dalton was a brilliant Bond and one of the best at the time - Yeah that's the same guy who's films are ranked dead bottom and third bottom of that box office list when it was made (and still are). "What a shame we didn't get a third Dalton film" they say, seemingly oblivious to the fact that if he'd made a third and it had dropped again as far as LTK's BO did from TLD's, there's a good chance the series would have ended there and then.

However, a nonsense article anyway - it doesn't even explain in any way how it would have "fixed" anything.
