In the episode 'New York, New York' Jo's friend, Jesse, says that to her as they're leaving the community center in the Bronx. If that was true, then why were there so many elderly, white folks there still sitting around playing checkers and cards? They weren't running before sundown because of the crime. I thought elderly people are usually more likely to be a victim of crime than most people.
