this movie i asaw as a kid with my mother in cinema. i was 8 or 9, probably too young. it scared the hell out of me, especially the doll scenes! but very thrilling horror flick! can recommend to (young) adults. stiil, at 40, whenever i see that kind of doll, i think of this scary movie!
I thought this film was strictly so-so. Granted, the doll was quite creepy, but overall this movie was pretty dull, slow, and underwhelming.

I just couldn’t believe how that little girl used the doll to deflect a one hundred sea gull mass mid air attack. She deflected a bird a second for quite a while there. Hugo Stiglitz should have turned the boat around after that craziness happened. I’d be wanting to get that kid off the boat immediately. 😀
