I saw this in the theater

I actually saw this in the theater in the late 70s when I was about 8 years old. It was an old drafty run down 1920s movie house. I remember even at that young age the atmosphere of the rundown theater helped to really make the viewing of this low budget docu-drama seem memorable.

I have a bootleg VHS tape, but it should be on DVD. I know Sunn Classic Pictures is in business. They have a website. All of those Sun Classic films should be released.

So did I. I can't believe it was rated G. I had nightmares about the woman that went to hell. Still do, I guess or I wouldn't even remember this.

I saw it back when I was a high school student in 1978. i'm old, I know. it profoundly affected me and changed the course of my life. I wish it was on DVD, there are DVD copies of VHS videotape out there that are terribly faded.

I saw this in the theater also. The cheap second run theater we used to go to used to show all these Schick-Sunn documentaries as double features with old Disney movies in the afternoons. The Bellrose Theater if you're from NY. I saw all these Mormon pseudo-documentaries that way. This, Chariots of the Gods, Search for Bigfoot, Bermuda Triangle, Search for Noah's Ark.

I have a decent copy if you want. I also have the super rare sequel, Beyond Death's door.

thank you :) sure I want to see them both in decent picture quality, the DVD I have is faded, they used a worn-out print to transfer. I doubt they still have the masters. can you send me a PM for info?

Haha yeah I saw this in the theater too when I was 7 or 8. It left quite an impression on me and I still check out scenes from it on occasion.
