so apparently on frikkin wikpedia, it claims that Disney shelved the movie a little bit because they claim it had political overtones in the movie. Which is bullshit. its just an animateed movie about small wild animals working in some United Nations rescue organization.
I think you nailed it with the UN thing, though I would like to point out that the animal version probably is not official, due to the UN not respecting talking animals or taking such things seriously (though they don't take anything very seriously most of the time). The kids aren't gonna understand the UN part anyway.

so i guess that's what all the fuss was about back then? Disney or whoever else at the time they werent fond of United Nations being actual wild animals that talked and were a group of a rescue organization and somehow humans were able to understand talking field mice?
