re: the extras, I laughed out loud that Ivan Reitman's interview is 12 min long, and the interview with the actress who played Mindy (Marilyn Chambers' best friend) is over half an hour.

EDIT: Yes, how silly of me, an interview with an extremely minor actor being nearly three times the length of an interview with a movie industry icon makes PERFECT SENSE. What was I thinking? Thanks to the douchebag below for setting me straight.

And you wanted less of Ivan or more of Mindy?

The latter is a minor character who can’t replace star Marilyn, but at least she is alive and willing to share her experience. Many aren’t. Maybe not the storyteller Mr. Reitman is, but I found her insights interesting.

It is the best transfer yet available, but sadly from a scratchy print.
Still the color correction is good.
Perhaps someday we’ll get one from the original negative — in 4K HDR.
