Rack being a bit rough with a young girl being surrounded by spiders

I know Rack was trying to be a decent hero and all, but did he really have to be that rough with his niece where he had to grab her and throw her back down on the ground where she was pretty much surrounded by spiders on the bedroom floor and she was getting covered with them.
