Ever use lines from sketches in real life?

I like asking people from out of town, "Did you drove or did you flew?", just to watch their reactions. More often than not, they catch on, but it's pretty amusing when they just stare.

"I want to bear your children!" comes up more often than not, but I can't do the crazed Lola laugh anymore.

"Blow 'em up real good!"

And hardly anyone gets it, but "What the what?"

reply

"It blowed up real good." Is my favorite.

There's one I can't quite recall from Harold Ramis. He's some character who says he was 'tetched' and somebody called him 'red'. I remember saying that to somebody a long time ago.

R.I.P Harold Ramis.

Seven years later, and it takes a death to bring life to the SCTV boards! Youtube "Muley's Roundhouse." It's one of my favourites, from the Grapes of Mud episode. The part where he calls Tom Joad a red isn't on there, but Ramis' irate Muley is.

"Prob'ly got a bologna san'wich if yer lucky"

My favorite sketches had Dave Thomas as Bob Hope.

I sometimes did the Bob Hope imitation with these lines:

"How 'bout that! 'int that wild?"

reply

My ticker's beating like a rabbit and Oscar bait!!
