Is there anything better than 70s horror films?

Quite simply NO! The horror films from the 70s were amazing - I love the creepy tone throughout most. They simply cannot capture that feeling of rawness and dread present in those 70s flicks like Carrie, Exorcist and Texas Chainsaw Massacre

There is not enough space here, or enough time to list all of the movies of the past century that are better than '70s horror films.

80's horror films are as good or better than 70's horror films though you could argue that the early 80's was similar to the 70's (the first and second Friday the 13th films or Halloween II).
