I LOVE this movie!

Forget the politics of today, forget that most of this is made up history. This movie catches the spirit of the time - Roosevelt and the big stick, the fact that the prisoner in real life liked his captor the Raisuli who demonstrated true desert chivalry and hospitality, the American can-do spirit of the marines and the changing world of north africa and the middle east.

And the music was so good! This is just a very well made movie, great acting, even John Huston as the secretary of state. Can't say enough. And I saw this movie the first time years ago at the theater. So glad it is in wide screen now.
