Funniest movie ever?

This movie hits my funny bone more consistently and in greater/deeper ways than any movie I have ever seen, I think. It's filled with great lines and I could watch it repeatedly, where I might get tired of some of Woody's amusing prior comedies. Who can name a funnier movie? Any of Monty Python's or something like Caddyshack? I'm hard pressed.

funniest Woody Allen movie rof me is Deconstructing Harry

This is possibly the funniest Allen film. It's certainly got the best ratio of jokes per minute. I think there are films that match it, such as The Jerk or Life Of Brian, but I don't think it's possible to make a film funnier than Love And Death. It's all subjective...and that's objective.

Just forget you ever saw it. It's better that way.

I love Love and Death, but I haven't seen it in awhile. It's a brilliant, funny film. I don't know how to judge what is funniest. Bananas, The Ref, and Flirting with Disaster would also be on my list of funniest, though.

For WOODY it's probably a tie between 'Love And Death', 'Play It Again Sam' or 'Broadway Danny Rose'

As for other movies, 'The Jerk' is pretty much up there as one of the greats
'Female Trouble' and 'Napoleon Dynamite' also crack me up.

This movie is on the same tier as the best works of Mel Brooks and Monty Python. Hard to name one sole movie as the funniest ever.

I put Ruthless People up against every film mentioned. The fratboy “wit” of the Natlamp movies is crude humor, not wit. If you think you’re a wit, you are half right.
