The kitchen of one of the women

I am not sure if it is Patty McCormack's kitchen or one of the other women's, but look very closely..it is the Brady's kitchen from 'The Brady Bunch'! I figured since it was a Paramount movie they probably filmed part of it on the back lot..but it was kinda neat to see it!

I just watched this over the weekend and I said the same thing! That same damn brick oven in the kitchen wall - unmistakably the Brady Bunch's kitchen! I fully expected Ann B. Davis to step out of the shadows and offer him some meatloaf! LOL ;-)

I had a weird sense of deja vu when I saw that kitchen, like I had been there before. As it turns out, I spent my childhood there (and much of my adulthoood as well)!

This movie is on Encore Avenue (Canada) right now and that's what I thought as soon as I saw the kitchen. They painted the Brady's kitchen and reused it!

Oh spiffing. Absolutely spiffing. Well done. Two dead, twenty-five to go.

You should add this to the trivia section if it's not there already.

Guess we know what was in Alice's meatloaf now!

I just saw this on TV last night and thought the exact same thing, 'That has to be the Brady Bunch kitchen!'

I'm glad to see I'm not the only who noticed this!

It's not just the kitchen, it's the whole Brady house. They modified it by removing the staircase and changing the location of the front door, but it's the same set. The series had been cancelled by the time "Bug" was filming, so they used it because they could burn it down.

reply

Recognised the kitchen straight away. And the other parts of the house too.

So hilarious. I've been a lifelong Brady fan and didn't know the set had been used in other things. It also shows up in Mannix and other Paramount TV shows as well.

I suspect that they figured the staircase would make it too recognizable, so that side of the front room is blocked off with a wall. I betcha the famous staircase is still sitting right behind it, along with Mike's den and the fireplace.

The kitchen is indeed the most recognizable, although they changed out the countertops (same shape, but the Brady's was orange) and blocked off the family room with a door that leads (at least in "Bug") out to the garage. The appliances are different, but the cabinets are still the same.

It's the Brady house on the inside, not just the kitchen. I got a kick out of it.

I remember commercials for Bug when it was in theaters, but I never saw it until yesterday. It was just released on blu-ray.

Anyway, just wanted to join the club. The moment I laid eyes on that kitchen, I thought I recognized it. But I wasn't 100% sure it was the actually one-and-the-same Brady kitchen. I thought maybe it was just the same modular design.
