Reminded me of two previous films

This film reminded me of a mix between THX 1138 and Zardoz. I wonder if either one of those films served as an inspiration and how much if any was taken from each. It also had quite a bit of Mad Max in it though this film would pre-date that so I wonder how much Mad Max borrowed from this film if any. For such a small budget I thought they did a very good job. The surreal scenes in the underground world would have made Terry Gilliam proud! Great ending!!

This is the type of creativity and balls that's missing in Hollywood today.

THX 1138 is a monumental masterpiece in comparison to this.

That's certainly debatable. For what it's worth I enjoyed them both and rated them the same.
