If you love this, you'll also love this film:

Once Upon a Time in America!

IMO, it's even better than GF Part II in more ways than one. It's very similar in structure and complexity, and it's also a gangster film, but it covers more ground, and developes even more deeper themes. It also spands 6 decades i believe.

Both brilliant films, but OUaTiA is even better than this masterpiece.

If you like Part II, you'll most likely love OUaTiA

Ouatia is great. Just personal preference for the GF series.

I've only seen OUATIA once and don't plan to see it again. Honestly I didn't like it though it attempted to replicate TGF's look. And it is nowhere near as good as TGF2, not even TGF3 IMO.

OUATITW otoh is a very very good film.

I really enjoyed 'Once..'
But GDpart II was much better imo...
Good post tho...worthy of debate!
