Felt more Scream than Halloween

Well, it inspired the hell out of Halloween!

Aside from the phone calls I don't see it.



Scream and Halloween are what I call popcorn slashers. Fun movies, very commercial.

Black Christmas' atmosphere is much darker and deeper than either of those. It's much more oppressive, approaching The Texas Chain Saw Massacre levels regarding it's tone and atmosphere. Very cold and eerie.

There is no god. Morality is subjective. Deal with it.

Even as an adult, those creepy phone calls were unlike anything I've ever heard from a psychotic like the way this movie portrayed.. The phone calls were genuinely creepy
