when did you first see this? Where were you? What did you think?

ME:
opening week. drive in theater with my Dad. I was in 4th or 5th grade. LOVED IT !
I think MANY of you (in the USA) first saw this on the CBS Late Movie in the late 1970s or early 80s. That's when it gained popularity more.

When I first saw it, was at the Drive-In theatre with my folks. I was a little girl of maybe 6 years so this was horrifying for me. I saw it again last year on television and thought it was amusing!

I remember seeing previews for this on TBS in the early '90s. I rented it in 1993, but didn't really watch it. I finally viewed the whole movie when my mom bought me the DVD in the mid-00s.

I saw this in the theater during it's original theatrical run in Los Angeles. I must have been around 7. My grandmother took me to see it. I remember being intrigued by the poster with the human hand coming out of the frog's mouth. I assumed it was about giant frogs and was disappointed when nothing like that happened in the actual film, but I still enjoyed it.

I saw Frogs in 1972 at the age of seven. It was a Sunday afternoon. I’ll never forget the next morning, my mom calling down the hall to “wake up and get ready for school”. I was terrified to get out of bed! I was sure there were thousands of frogs under my bed, and as soon as I stepped on the floor they’d all jump on me!

That was in 1972. It’s now 2019 and I haven’t touched a frog in all those years.

I bought it on dvd in the mid-2000s; that was my first viewing. The story coulda had more drive, but I like the cast and the lush Florida Panhandle locations.
