Maybe I missed something, Snoopy made toast and popcorn and jelly beans for Thanksgiving dinner, where'd they get the turkey from to eat?

It is supposed to be a joke that Snoopy and Woodstock have a real Thanksgiving dinner after all the kids are gone.

I've always said Snoopy served the bogus dinner to the kids to get them out so he and Woodstock could have the real thing alone.

Snoopy is very versatile and apparently well off. In the strips they had an arc where his house burned down and they talked about all the artwork he lost. Finding a turkey dinner should be no problem.
