Lucky 7


They really need to change the rules of this one. I can't remember the last time someone won the car.

My suggestions are:

1. Let the contestant choose one free number to reveal. (They would have to change how the numbers are revealed--each would have its own "door")

OR

2. Change the name to Lucky 10 or Lucky 11 and give them that many dollars.

I agree. Probably one of my least favorite "car games".

They won't change it because they have a good thing going, i.e., Lucky Seven is probably the easiest game for them to set up for a likely win or a likely loss, without breaking any actual laws. For a likely win, they can use midrange numbers in the price of the car, such as $25,654. For a likely loss, they can use high and/or low numbers, such as $29,191.

This website has a "cheat sheet" that lists winning percentages from 100 game plays.

Lucky 7 is low compared to most, but at 22.6%, probably higher than you would think. I agree it's a VERY DIFFICULT game.
