My funniest Maude moment............

It was one of the later episodes.
Maude was trying to impress the local Society Ladies or something like that. Alice Ghostly played a columnist that Maude was trying to butter up. Near the end of the episode everything goes haywire --Maude realizes that there's not too much more she can do and tells off the party of ladies at her home .

Alice Ghosty character : "By the way Misses Findley; your cheese puffs were terrible".

Maude: (doing a mock Alice Ghosty impression with a pinched face and all) "Well I got the recipe from your column".

I never laughed so hard at a TV show up to that point! LOL!

"In every dimension , there's another YOU!"

Was that the one where Walter was arrested for groping women and it turned out that the whole time he was at a theater watching Donald Duck cartoons? 

I like this one episode. But, just (a) scene in it. Has nothing to do with the plot of the episode. A guy comes to the front door selling fresh strawberries. Maude says okay. Takes two cartons and skims off the best strawberries from each, hands the guy the shitty carton and slams the door in his face.

Any episode where Walter tells her= "Maude, sit." It never grows old.

The episodes where Maude utters her boiler plate: "God'll get for that, Walter." were good early on, but, they killed it. Do it once every other episode. It got to be where they were doing multiple times in each episode.

It was in the very controversial Maude's abortion episode.

Carol berates her for not using the pill and says, "Don't tell me you were using an old fashioned method!"

Maude: "Yes and the old fashioned thing happened. I got pregnant!
