Are There Any 707's In Use Today?

Does anyone know if there are any owned privately of maybe used by foreign airlines?

A chrysanthemum by any other name would be easier to pronounce.

John Travolta owns one. Apparently there are none in the passenger service anymore though.

The Air Force still flies several derivatives of the 707, including the KC-135 Stratotanker, EC-135, E-3 Sentry, and E-8 Joint STARS. The Navy operates the E-6 Mercury. Although the KC-135 and EC-135 are technically designated as "717" by Boeing, they are built off the same platform as the 707. They are definitely good aircraft, as many have been continuously flying hazardous missions for sixty years now.

Air Force One was a 707 at one time. Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan and Bush 41 all used it.

Just a couple, used as cargo planes. Travolta has donated his to the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society, the Air Force has retired all theirs, and because of noise ordinances, there's almost nowhere to land one anymore unless a hush kit is fit to each engine as a cost of about 2 million per engine.

It's just not worth it today.
