who are the 3 guys at the beginning waiting for Bronson

Who are the 3 actors, playing the bad guys, waiting in the train station for Bronson to arrive on the train?

thanks

Woody Strode, Jack Elam and Al Mulock.
Al Mulock actually commited suicide after shooting his scene in a day (check IMDb trivia for more info).

I think you asked for the actors' names but if you were talking about their role in the film, other than being fodders they were men sent by Frank to kill whoever arranged to meet him at the train station.

Great! Thanks

Great trio! They looked really beat-up and completely sold the role.. Al Mulock had such a haunting look in his eyes, was sad to read about his demise..

I read somewhere when Al Mulack Jumped out of the window Sergio said to make sure he got the Costume he was wearing when he jumped

One of my favorite bits of trivia about this film is that Leone wanted Clint Eastwood to be one of those guys. Can you imagine the shock value if all you knew was the "Dollars" trilogy and were watching it for the first time?

reply

I heard he wanted the other two to be Eli Wallach and Lee Van Cleef. It was supposed to be a full reunion of the TGTB&TU cast but none of the three wanted their characters gunned down easily by Bronson.

Smart move by all 3 actors. A really dumb decision by the director to try to include them in the opening scene as some kind of reunion.
