well, i find this is the definitely the most exotic bond flick anyway, and i think the greatest soundtrack up to this point, right before the greatest, right (on her majesty's secret service), notice how high up charles gray comes in the credits for such a small part, he would later play a major role of course in "diamonds are forever", and notice how after henderson gets killed how bond runs after the killer and jumps after him like a dog, donald pleasence is really an intimidating blofeld which is fitting since it's the first view of him after several movies only hearing his voice, "kill bond. now.". that final segment sure goes on for a long while. the guy hanging in space, what a neat shot, this opens so weird with you having believe bond gets killed, - "bond is dead, it was in all the newspapers" - "rubbish.". this aired on television on a bond marathon straight after goldfinger, and i admit it was hard to get into the groove of this right after what many considers the greatest bond flick. here's my favorite connery bonds (at the moment) beginning by order 1. diamonds are forever. 2. goldfinger. 3. from russia with love. 4. never say never again. 5. dr. no. 6. you only live twice. 7. thunderball.
