I had an incident happen on the subway

I love this movie when I saw it years ago. I recently watched it after this happened.
I saw a guy punch a girl on the subway. The subway was pretty full because a baseball game just ended. One girl told him to stop. He said it was okay because she is my girlfriend. No one else did anything but everyone looked at each other like they were supposed to do something. He and his girlfriend got off the train at the next stop. I'm a small girl who was traveling by myself. I wish that I could have stopped him.

I Believe you. there are more of these incidents today than ever! even thought the seventies in New York City was also very bad. People just dont help? this Movie was a sighn of times to come.

I once chased a guy who was chasing a woman, trying to hit her with a lug wrench, and I tackled him and held him while my girlfriend called the cops. Another time I heard a guy beating a woman in the alley behind my house and I stopped him. The point is that I am by no means "brave" or "tough", and I have no fighting skills, so if even I would do those things, I'm sure there would be more than one guy on that train who would have stood up to the thugs.
