Am I the only one who thought the early bits with Mrs. Robinson were the best?

Am I alone in thinking the first half of the movie was better?

When Mrs. Robinson was seducing Ben, that felt the funny part. Ben being in the hotel, and acting all nervous and not sure what he was doing was quite charming in it's own way.

After Elaine turned up, and Ben fell out with Mrs. Robinson it felt less interesting somehow. It just seemed that Ben was following Elaine round, pestering her to marry him. It felt more awkward than funny.

The last scene with them running from the church onto the bus was quite cool. But I didn't feel as involved with Elaine, she just seemed to turn up half way through the movie.
