God created woman out of Adam's rib. Frankenstein had nothing to do with it !
Technically, he doesn't "create" anything in this film, other than the technology for capturing one person's soul and transferring it into another person's body. I'm pretty sure the title was a play on the Brigitte Bardot film "And God Created Woman". The producers and director Terence Fisher of Hammer were a pretty square bunch and I don't think any blasphemy was intended by the title.
