Racist! Help! Is some fool trolling the Wikipedia page?

I found this comment on the Wikipedia page, that black aliens could easily be detected because unlike black human beings, the palms of their hands were black. WTF?🤣

Black aliens' palms were not pale, like humans of African descent, but were the same shade as the rest of their skins.

First, I find it hard to believe that in the racially tense 1960's, what with the civil rights movement and urban riots in the major cities, that a network tv show would have explored such an issue of skin color.

Kudos if this show had black aliens in the 60's, since black actors were largely shut out of mainstream tv roles.

But can someone verify whether this is true or not, that black aliens in this 1960's show could be detected by the palms of their hands?🤪

Can't answer for The Invaders (although I loved the show), but a few weeks ago I was watching a 1950s UK TV police drama where they realised that a murder victim who they thought was a black woman was in fact a white woman whose skin had been 'dyed', and the pathologist realised this because her soles and palms were black as well. Struck me as funny that the pathologist didn't notice that she didn't have black facial features; he only realised because of a 'dodgy paint job'! 😂

Yeah, this came to mind the other day because we were by the pool and I noticed the soles of my friend's feet were whiter than mine. Lol.

It's mainly that my memory of old tv from the 50's and 60's is that most the shows were 100% white. It was as if blacks did not exist.
