best carry on

Standard Carry On for me, which is by no means a criticism. However the first 10 minutes were quite depressing, the opening credits against a primed guillotine under a dark blue sky reminded me of Hammer's And Frankenstein Created Woman. The prolonged execution sequence at the beginning was overlong and just grim, despite Williams and Butterworth's best efforts with some pretty limp jokes. After that it was as watchable as ever.

Some of the b/w ones were the best. Sergeant, Teacher, Cabby, Regardless, and Spying.
