Sad tune throughout the film.
Does anyone know the name of the song sang whilst Tuco is being tortured? I remember it from my childhood and always found it very haunting?
shareIf its the one where the prisoners are playing and told to sing/play louder when Tuco is screaming out in pain then the song is 'The Death of a Soldier and yes it is pretty haunting.

Actually there were two songs on the soundtrack that sounded similar. I think the song being played by the prisoners when Tuco is being tortured is The Story of a Soldier. I might be wrong but that is my recollection. The Death of a Soldier is played after the battle at the bridge when Blondie comforts the confederate soldier as he is dying. Again, I might be mixed up on this.
Both very powerful scenes with very powerful music.
