I hate how it ended...

I really didn't care for how the show ended in the past. We never went back to find out about Barnabas, Julia and the rest of the characters. Always felt cheated that it ended the way it did.

I've never watched the final episode because I didn't want it to end. One day, maybe?

It wasn't a good ending. The last 5 minutes was OK, I guess.

Something like DS just can't be rebooted. The time and place for such a show was a special thing and a reboot wouldn't fly with the old fans or today's audience. The old fans wouldn't like the serious way the story and characters would be developed in a reboot and if it was made more campy like the original today's young viewers would balk at it.
