Netflix remake

I read somewhere this could happen in 2018 with 10 episodes. Toby Stephens and Molly Parker (Alma Garrett in Deadwood) will appear as John and Maureen Robinson. I looked up Taylor Russell slated to play Judy. Either I googled the wrong actress or well never mind.

Hopefully it will be better than the movie.

I'm sure it will rate right up there with the other trash that comes out of Hollllywood these days. I'm quite sure it will be loaded with sex, expletives and anti-American PC propaganda that Hollllywood foists on America, but doesn't practice itself.
Like those wonderful remakes "Land Of The Lost", "Bewitched", "Lost In Space", "Starsky And Hutch", etc. etc.

I'm willingly to wait until I actually see it to pass judgement, but I hear what your saying .

HOPEFULLY, it will be along the lines of the newer Star Treks or Dark Knight flicks (as opposed to say the most recent Star Wars movie) and give us a descent 10 ep mini-series or whatever its technically considered.

My biggest concern that your fears may be realized is the actress who apparently plays Judy. I get Will, Penny and Judy all had different hair color, but this is going too far unless we learn Judy was actually adopted (which I don't care for as it changes the "family unit" aspect of the original LIS) or Maureen had an affair, perhaps before she met John as Judy is the oldest, and John treats Judy as his own.

They did something similar in Jurassic Park 2 Lost World with Ian Malcolm's (Jeff Goldblum) "daughter".

Why would the Robinson's be anti-American? The Robinson's ARE American!

Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy night.

Definite thumbs up to the series. My only beef - no firearms. Common sense dictates they should have access to something (aside from a forcefield fence of questionable quality).

The other remake with William Hurt bombed. It wasn't very good.
