Elvis’s character was unlikeable

Took off on the girl who bailed him out of jail, and the movie never suggests that he paid her back.

He caused the accident by trying to talk to the girl while he was riding the bike, despite the father telling him to get lost. And then after the accident, he had the audacity to go blaming the father.

He rudely kisses Joe’s daughter suddenly when she is showing him around.

He rudely takes the towels from the showering girls.

Never bothered to say thanks when they bought him a new guitar and paid for the motorcycle repairs.

He kept Joe in jail overnight, and he never apologized.

He broke his word by leaving the 2 carnies, despite the contract he signed.

His character here reminds me of his character in Jailhouse Rock, I loved it!

I disliked the father more. He may jave not liked him talking to his daughter, but it doesn't give him the right to almost kill him.
