The detective wasn´t your regular Hercule Poirot, he failed to notice Tex literally poking at Regina´s husband´s body at the funeral. Also failing to identify Dyle or any of his cronies as suspects. Hard to believe he missed the stamps? Maybe. I wouldn´t call it a glaring flaw though.

Lighten up. It's an entertainment, not a police procedural.
