It & he are unbelievable. He's sheer perfection. He never punishes the contestant. And very rarely do they deserve such. People were different then. It will get to the >BIG DEAL< of the day, more times than not the 2 women will clutch hands as it comes down. Very emotional. Nothing is grudged at final declaration. Occasionally a tear comes to my eyes watching these gems.
Sometimes the contestants are disappointed with their (prize.) But, they brazen it out, plaster a smile on their mug and carry on.
More often than not they'll throw in A/C on the car give-a-ways + pick up the tax and license + "other extras." I love it! And when they give away the Chevy Vegas. I lmao, it's junk, but, that's okay. Nobody knew it then. & it's brand new.
The one BIG prize that is just totally ridiculous is that 45 day cruise to the North Pole & beyond. WTF! Monty always gets that sheepish grin on his face when he hands one out. And you smell a rat when the BIG DEAL is worth in excess of $14,000. Monty sells it after the win by calling it a "Legacy trip." tee, hee.
I've discovered "Let's Make a Deal" once & again on my YouTube app on Cox Contour 2 box. It's truly wonderful.
