A lot of people (including myself) have hatred for Helen.
After re-watching the show from the beginning, Helen seems fine in the earlier seasons and doesn't go full bitch until the color episodes.
Is that my imagination or an accurate assessment?
I confess the only episodes with her I have seen are Andy Discovers America and A wife for Andy. I'd like to see the one I saw only short clips of where Errnest T. Bass attends her class. But I don't know which season it is.

Yay. In her debut episode she had every right to be upset with Andy and frankly I don't think Andy acted right saying History was hard. That gave Opie the idea that it wasn't important. Of course he did make it up to her at the end by getting them interested in it by telling them the story of how America started. She was nice on A wife for Andy.
