adam west twilight zone connection. (starred in twilight zone radio dramas)

this topic may look out of place on the twilight zone board unless you're familiar with "the twilight zone radio dramas", if you haven't heard the news about adam west recently i'll spare you, but i have to mention that adam west starred in two of the very best twilight zone radio episodes, one of them being the funny "a short drink from a certain fountain", i can't recall how funny the original tv episode was, but if its not intended to be funny, because of adam west's distinctive voice (personally first coming by it in "family guy") it becomes hilarious, the other episode he starred in was "still valley". if you're a fan of both family guy and the twilight zone you won't regret checking out the radio adaptation of "a short drink from a certain fountain". well if you were a fan of neither it would still be a riot.
"what's this, a little moustache?"

thought you were gone to stay,
others had taken your place,
in this messed up weather a fresh wind to my soul madeleine was sent,
from a mile away know what i missed as earth began to move again,
went out on an adventure like days of old,
as you fed my soul for a sec brought it back home,
desperately hangin on, my soul needs to cling on to you,
or its without use,
as you make my longin ease,
tries to put a chain at your feet,
before once again you blow away like the breeze.

I was listening the other night to Michael Rooker (Merle Dixon in "The Walking Dead") star in "The Grave."

I also heard one of the Duke boys play the William Shatner role in "Nightmare at Twenty Thousand Feet."

While some of the radio versions aren't that great -- avoid the adaptation of "The Little People" at all costs -- overall, I thought they did a good job translating a TV staple to a different media format.

I'll have to check those Adam West-starring installments out. Hearing his unmistakable voice in a "TZ" I'm sure would be amusing.
