Don Rickles

Don Rickles has died aged 90. Is he the last of the Twilight Zone actors, or are there still some left?

reply

William Shatner is still with us.

Too bad the only "TZ" Rickles appeared in was the lame "Mr. Dingle, The Strong."

He was though in a pretty good episode of "Tales From The Crypt" called "The Ventriloquist's Dummy."

Some of the child actors are still with us like Ann Jillian (Mute), Bill (Billy)Mumy (he was in two episodes), and Veronica Cartwright from 'I Sing the Body Electric'. Tracy Stratford the owner of 'Talky Tina' is still here.

Interesting that Earl Holliman from the first episode, 'Where is Everybody' is also still with us. He's ninety. Also closing in on ninety, Robert Duvall is still here.

Some of the ladies from TZ like Ruta Lee and Carol Burnett are still here too.

A few I think are still alive but not 100% sure about: Wright King (Shadow Play), Randy Boone and Ron Foster (The 7th Is Made Up Of Phantoms), Pippa Scott (The Trouble With Templeton), Bonnie Beecher (Come Wander With Me), Martin Landau (The Jeopardy Room), Geoffrey Horne (The Gift), Mariette Hartley (The Long Morrow), Richard Erdman (A Kind Of Stopwatch), Joanne Linville and Rex Holman (The Passersby), Ben Cooper (Still Valley).

Jean Marsh from "The Lonely"

Good one. Also, Nehemiah Persoff (Judgment Night), Bobby Diamond (In Praise Of Pip), Dee Hartford (The Bewitchchin' Pool), Antoinette Bower (Probe 7, Over and Out), Shelley Fabares (Black Leather Jackets) and Burt Reynolds (The Bard). This is actually a pretty good track record for living players from a TV series that went off the air fifty-three years ago. Child and teens actors, okay, that's one thing, but we've seen a good number of grownup players since among the living.
